The subdelegate of the Government in Lugo, Isabel Rodríguez, gave this morning 26 “cyber expert” cards to the sixth grade students of the Divine Master CPR after the training they received within the framework of the National Police Master Plan. No act of surrender, it was accompanied by one of the trainers of the Master Plan of the National Police, Iván García, and by the pedagogical director of the center, Eva Chouse.
Isabel Rodríguez highlighted the benefits of the Master Plan for Youth in the educational field in which it reaches awareness and training on the risks of new technologies, the use of tools that facilitate navigation, the management of privacy in networks and the acquisition of skills for secure communication in social networks.
In addition, the subdelegate made special mention of the correct use of new technologies “that can facilitate learning but also have risks that we must avoid, adults too, but especially minors.” In this regard, he called for coexistence in the classrooms, “to consolidate respectful treatment and eradicate bullying and inequality.”
Finally, he thanked the commitment and involvement of the National Police with the training activity and the receptiveness and interest of the management team to be able to carry out this activity in its facilities.
