The subdelegate of the Government in Ourense, Eladio Santos, visited this morning the State Roads Unit in Ourense. Accompanied by the provincial head of the same, Álvaro Rodríguez Aguiar, he came to know the facilities that the Ministry of Transport has in the capital, where 8 officials, 7 workers and 3 employees of INECO (Spanish public engineering and consulting company) work daily, to which are added another 82 workers distributed in centers located in Vilamarín, A Rúa, Allariz and A Gudiña.
During the visit, Eladio Santos discussed with the provincial chief the situation of the maintenance works and other works that are in progress on both the roads of the city and the province. “We update data and evaluate the situation, mainly of those projects that allow to continue advancing and improve the state road infrastructure, through an important effort on the part of the central government,” explained the subdelegate.
In this way, they analyzed the improvements that are being made in high-speed roads, such as the A-52 motorway, and conventional roads, with initiatives of great relevance that involve execution periods of two or three years.
