The subdelegate of the Government in Ourense, Eladio Santos, met this morning with the president of the Mi⦅⦆ -Sil Hydrographic Confederation, José Antonio Quiroga, in order to address projects of interest to the province related to the competences of the hydrographic agency.
At the meeting, they discussed the projects that the Confederation is carrying out in concellos throughout the province and that affect issues of irrigation, watershed improvements, sanitation works and creation of trails or itineraries of tourist interest.
In addition, both representatives addressed the current Hydroloxic Plan, in force until 2027, reviewing the budgets of 2025, dedicated to new investments or expansion of others that are already in progress; while also exchanging ideas for the next plan.
“There are very important hydraulic transformation projects in several concellos and regions of Ourense that will receive investments of millions of euros and that, in addition, mean a substantial environmental improvement of some areas in which it was very necessary,” concluded the subdelegate.
