The deputy delegate of the Government in A Coruña, María Rivas, highlighted this afternoon the positive impact of the Recovery Plan of the Government attending to the demands of the Galician associative fabric. He did so at the inauguration of the sociocultural venue of the Neighborhood Association of San Salvador-Serantes, in Ferrol.
The project was chosen by the Ministry of Transport, Mobility and Urban Agenda for its criteria of architectural quality, governance, solidity, comprehensive approach, opportunity and innovation presented by this design. “Thanks to the funds of the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan with which the City Council was provided with 450,000 euros to carry out the total rehabilitation of the social premises of the neighborhood of Serantes, Ferrol is regaining its smile,” he said.
In January 2024, the starting signal was given to a rehabilitation that made it possible to increase the availability of the social premises and to improve their accessibility. The venue has 346 square meters, distributed among a hall of events, several offices, a library and multipurpose room in which all those activities required by the neighbors of the parish of Serantes can be carried out.
