The government delegate discusses with the mayor of Pontedeume the project to improve security in the N-651 as it passes through Campolongo

Bernardo Fernández transferred the need to create a path to improve road and pedestrian traffic safety, a proposal that Pedro Blanco promised to transfer to the Ministry of Transport. They also took the opportunity to study the project of access to the Olmo urbanization and the construction of a parking in the area

The government delegate in Galicia, Pedro Blanco, held today a working meeting with the mayor of Pontedeume, Bernardo Fernández, in which they analyzed the security improvement project in the N-651 as it passed through the center of Campolongo.

To respond to this historic demand, the Eumés councillor presented to the government delegate the project for the construction of a path on this crossing aimed at improving road and pedestrian traffic safety on this state-owned road, a proposal that Pedro Blanco undertook to transfer to the Ministry of Transport for consideration.

At the meeting, in which the head of the Demarcation of Roads in Galicia, Ángel González del Río, and the councilor of Infrastructures of Pontedeume, Daniel Ríos, were also present, the delegate and the councilor also studied the initiative of the Concello for the improvement of access to the urbanization Olmo and the construction of a parking in the area.
