Until the month of July, the applications submitted reached almost 30% of the possible beneficiaries, which is why the subdelegate of the Government in A Coruña encouraged those 8,985 young people and girls who turn 18 in this 2024 to apply for the Young Cultural Bonus.

The data of the call for 2023
The subdelegate of the Government indicated that, last year, in the province of A Coruña there were 6,474 boys and girls who obtained their Bonus, 66% of the 8,816 potential consumers. “6,474 young people and girls who thanks to the Young Cultural Bonus have a balance of 400 euros their willingness for a year to go to the cinema, to the theater, to concerts, to festivals, buy books, records and even make use of online video games. 400 euros that go a long way,” said María Rivas.
In Galicia it reached 15,339 people out of 23,149 born in 2005.
In its first edition, in the year 2022, the Young Cultural Voucher injected 1.9 million euros into the cultural industries and shops of the Galician Community through the 50,000 sales operations that were made under its charge. In total, one in two people with full rights to this bonus benefited from it in 2022.
Just for that reason, the Government’s subdelegate in A Coruña wanted to encourage the 8,985 Coruñeses and Coruñesas who turn 18 in 2024 to get the Bonus. “The Government of Spain wants this direct aid of 400 euros to reach all young people, especially those who may have the most difficulties in their environment to access cultural products and experiences.”
