The Government Delegation in Galicia highlights the progress of the Digital Kit program, promoted by the Ministry for Digital Transformation and Public Service through the funds of the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan. With data from June 2024, offered in the Complying Balance that the Government made a few weeks ago, the program has 27,282 beneficiaries in Galicia, which received a total of 111.7 million euros.
Companies that wish to do so are still in time to apply for their subsidies, as the deadline was extended until December 31. In this way, companies with less than 50 workers have already opened the process of incorporation into the aid. In tranches, signatures of between 0 and 3 employees can receive up to 3,000 euros, those that have between 3 and 10 will have at their disposal up to 6,000 euros and those that exceed 10 but not 50, 12,000 euros.
In addition, within the segment of between 0 and 3 workers, the “safe workplace” solution was created this May, with a maximum eligible amount of 1,000 euros to finance the purchase of laptops or desktops with a series of requirements that guarantee the security and privacy of the data stored in it.
Taking into account other tranches, it should be noted that in the last quarter of this year the application periods are scheduled to open for the two corresponding to the largest companies, between 50 and 100 employees and between 100 and 250. Respectively, they will be eligible for grants of between 25,000 and 29,000 euros.
The Digital Kit is an initiative of Red.es, an entity attached to the Ministry for Digital Transformation and the Public Service, which is framed in the Digital Spain Agenda 2026 and in the Digitalization Plan of SMEs 2021-2025. It is funded by the Government’s Recovery Plan, which has already mobilized more than 3,391 million euros in Galicia and reached 36,876 entities.
