The deputy delegate of the Government in Lugo, Isabel Rodríguez, presided today the Security Board on the occasion of the VI Mariña Lucense Rally that will be held this weekend. Isabel Rodríguez stressed the need to remind fans to be in safe places, respecting the measures established by the organization of the event, so that the event takes place in total normality.
In the meeting that hosted this Monday the Subdelegation of the Government a wide device was defined by the Security Forces and Corps to guarantee security during the celebration of the sports event, which will take place in 5 municipalities of the Lucense Navy. Its work will range from controlling the opening and closing of each section in the established schedule to supervising the evacuation routes and preventing infractions and behaviors that threaten the safety of pilots and the public.
This sixth Rally of the Lucense Marina will take place on 10, 11 and 12 May and will take place in the municipalities of Viveiro, Xove, Cervo, Ourol and O Vicedo. In this 2024, this is the fourth round of the Galician Asphalt Rally Championship, consisting of four different sections, all the double pass, with a total of 280.94 km, of which 88.55 km are timed.
I did not find the president of the Mix Rallye Sport Team, organizer of the race; Ignacio J. Dávila; as well as the Civil Guard, Traffic Subsector, National Police, Provincial Traffic Headquarters, Firefighters and Civil Protection, as well as representatives of the municipalities through which the rally will run, and the Xunta.
