The subdelegate of the Government in A Coruña, María Rivas, today announced the new mobile application that the General Directorate of the Land Registry of the Ministry of Finance and the General Secretariat of Digital Administration of the Ministry for Digital Transformation and Public Service come from implementing to facilitate citizens’ efforts with the Administration. He did so on a visit to the Territorial Management of the Cadastre in A Coruña, in which he was received by its manager, Victoria Fernández Estevan; the deputy manager, Isidoro Miguel Pérez, and the head of the public attention office, Ana Isabel Casquero, among others.
At the event, the subdelegate stressed that the new ‘app’ of the Land Registry “is an agile and easily accessible tool that allows you to have in the palm of your hand, for personal use, the information of the real estate of each person and keep abreast of any modification that may affect them”. In this line, he pointed out that the new application “is another example of the digital transformation that this Government is betting on”, which, with initiatives such as ‘My Citizens’ Folder’ or this new application of the Cadastre, financed from the Recovery Plan, “is providing new quality mobile services for the main public services and finally placing the Administration in the 21st century”.
The application 'Catastro_app', explained Rivas, allows to gather and customize on each mobile device information of the urban and rustic properties of which it is owner. To access it, it will be necessary to identify through the various established systems such as Cl@ve PIN, permanent Cl@ve, the electronic certificate or, in case of not having an electronic credential, introducing the DNI or NIE and the cadastral reference of the property of its ownership.
Among the functionalities of the new application is the warning system, which alerts to any cadastral alteration of our hincas; the visualization of them through interactive maps or the GPS location of the plots, to which photographs, sketches, annotations or drawing on them can be added. This information can be downloaded in PDF format on the mobile and will be for personal use only.
Land value
A sub-delegate from the Government stressed that, in addition to bringing information together in an agile and precise way, this application allows, for example, to know if a hinca is being used in the processing of aid from the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP).
It also valued another of its functionalities, which allows to consult the value of the lands of the most representative crops or uses in each area. Thus, when selecting on the map "See land value" the application will show the modules of average value (in euros per hectare) of the real estate products representative rustic (crops and uses) of the selected place defined by the General Directorate of the Cadastre.
Finally, María Rivas celebrated the good reception that the application is having, with more than 70,000 downloads in its first month of life, and the system of notices, with about 45,000 subscriptions and more than 2,500 notices generated, while recognizing the work developed in the physical office of A Coruña, which last year attended a total of 11,057 queries (1,683 of them telephone) and issued 4,111 certifications, to which must be added the 343,877 issued from the electronic headquarters.
María Rivas uses the Cadastre app as an example of the Government’s effort to make citizens’ relationship with the Administration more flexible
