The Government Subdelegation hosts a training day focused on foreign women victims of gender violence

The Subdelegate of the Government in Pontevedra, Abel Losada, encourages the professionals of the province to register for the training day that will host the Subdelegation of the Government next Thursday, March 7, on the occasion of the celebration of International Women's Day. The training activity will deepen the legal framework applicable to foreign women victims of gender violence and will be held in the Subdelegation’s auditorium between 10:00 and 12:00.
As reported to the subdelegate, its objective is to train the personnel of the social services and Women’s Information Centers (CIMs), workers of NGOs, members of the Security Forces and Corps, lawyers and any other professional working in the field of the prevention of gender violence and in the care of victims on the legal framework applicable to foreign women victims of male violence.
The presentation of the day, which will be given by the head of the Office of Foreigners of the Government Subdelegation, Juan Carlos Vázquez, will be carried out by the Government’s own subdelegate in Pontevedra.
The assistance is completely free, but due to capacity issues the places are limited. The activity is part of the program of activities organized by the Subdelegation of the Government in Pontevedra for the International Women’s Day (8M), under which it is also planned the implementation of the first violet dot in the offices of the Public Service of State Employment (SEPE) of the province, the placement of a banner and the reading of the institutional declaration of the Government on the occasion of the 8M by the students of the province.
