Lobios (Ourense), January 24, 2024.- The subdelegate of the Government in Ourense, Emilio González, highlights the service of attention to the citizen of the Civil Guard of Lobios and highlights the guarantee of citizen security that is being reinforced with activity in the streets and different patrols that cover the entire region of Baja Limia.
This was stated this morning during an institutional visit to the headquarters of the Civil Guard of the city of Lobios together with the accidental chief commander of the Command of Ourense, Jose Benito Santamarina, where he took the opportunity to congratulate the personnel of the State security forces and bodies for their work in the attention of citizenship and crime prevention to which the latest crime balances published by the Ministry of the Interior attest that there was a decrease of almost 30% in the crimes committed in the municipality in the last year.
Emilio González highlighted the relevance of the Lobios headquarters, which is undoubtedly the reference headquarters of the entire region. He explained that currently the full performance is found with an occupation of 100% of the staff in which two priorities are established: The coverage of crimes against the heritage of nature with PAPRONA patrols and cross-border relations covering the whole territory, as well as the agents who serve in the office of attention to the citizen daily and which is reinforced with nearby headquarters such as Lobeira, Entrimo or Bande.
The deputy delegate highlighted the great work being carried out by the Ourense Civil Guard Command to improve services, especially in this headquarters, included within the IV four-year plan of the Civil Guard in which the development of a project for the conditioning of the pavilions and facilities to provide new residential services is foreseen. In addition, restructuring is being carried out to adapt to the new needs and sociodemographic advances that occurred in the area in the last 30 years with the updating of surveillance and video surveillance media.
