The deputy delegate of the Government in Pontevedra, Abel Losada, received the mayor of Bueu, Félix Juncal, to study the status of the file for the reform of the premises in the lower part of the House of the Sea of Bueu to convert it into the offices of the Civil Guard in the locality. The meeting was also attended by the colonel of the Civil Guard in Pontevedra, Simón Venzal, and the general secretary of the Subdelegation, María Isabel Alonso. The administrative regularization of this space, of 70.25 square meters, in view of its deascription from the General Treasury of Social Security and its subsequent ascription to the Ministry of the Interior, was addressed to the retail in the conversation.
Abel Losada reported that on November 14, the Subdirectorate General of State Heritage requested the necessary documentation for the registration of the property, including the certification of ownership, surface plan and designation of the representative for the registration of the property. This process is still pending, once the Christmas holiday period is over. In addition, the need to adapt the horizontal division was noted because the space where the offices of the Civil Guard will be located are the result of the sum of three premises originally occupied by the cafeteria, the toilets and a warehouse.
The subdelegate undertook to promote the office of the Civil Guard of Bueu, monitoring the pending procedures, so that it becomes a reality as soon as possible, since the municipality has a population of 12,000 inhabitants that multiplies during the summer period. In addition, the possibility of articulating an assignment of use that allows to anticipate the works of conditioning will be valued, since this office is fundamental to complete the attention to the Morrazo and avoid the displacement of the citizens to the headquarters of Marín.
In November 2022 the Xunta de Galicia retroceded the 70.25 square meters of these three premises to the General Treasury of Social Security that had been ceded to the Autonomous Community in 1999, along with the whole ground floor of the property. Due to its location and the presence in it of the headquarters of the Local Police, the venue is suitable for the Civil Guard unit.
On the other hand, during the meeting, the progress for the improvement and expansion of the Pescadoira slope was discussed, an issue in which the subdelegate of the Government made himself available to the mayor to make this improvement possible and advanced all the will for collaboration on the part of the Head of State.
