The subdelegate of the Government in Lugo, Isabel Rodríguez, co-chaired this morning with the mayor of A Fonsagrada, Carlos López, the Local Xunta of Security of the municipality. In it, an X-ray was made of the place in this area and the security device of the Feria del Butelo was addressed, an appointment for which a good reception is expected due to the claim it supposes for the residents of the town and the entire province.
The subdelegate first highlighted the work done by the Civil Guard in the municipality, highlighting a crime clarification rate of more than 55%. “This data gives an account of all the work done in the locality to try to ensure that citizens enjoy the greatest possible security.”
Of course, the subdelegate also thanked the activities they carry out through the Master Plan in schools in the area, since in the last course there were 8 talks and 1 media exhibition, “and this 2023/2024 course the figure will be exceeded with 6 conferences planned, 4 of them already given”.
As usual, Isabel Rodríguez reminded the councilor that he can count on the help of the Government and the Subdelegation for everything he needs and that they will always be there to support the rural municipalities.
Feria del Butelo
This Local Security Board served as a prelude to prepare the security device of the Feria del Butelo, Festival of Galician Tourist Interest that is celebrated the weekend before the Carnival, coinciding this year on February 3 and 4.
Isabel Rodríguez appealed to the citizens to act responsibly. “This meeting reflects the importance of communication between the State Security Forces, the City Council and the Local Police, which will allow us to guarantee a safe municipality and allow us to enjoy the fair without incidents or problems that are serious.”
