The subdelegate of the Government in A Coruña, María Rivas, held a meeting this morning with Fernando Ron Curras, Manager of Tragsatec and other members of her team to evaluate the Protocol of Accession to the Technical Assistance Service and Dynamization of the participation of Public Administrations in the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan (PRTR).
This protocol, to which the municipalities can voluntarily adhere, is created to carry out a service of technical assistance and dynamization for the participation especially of the local entities of less than 5,000 inhabitants in the calls for the Plan of Recovery, Tranformation and Resistance; and thus fulfill the duties and requirements according to the European and National regulations.
During the year 2023, a total of 62 municipalities in the province of A Coruña signed the accession protocol, which represents 67% of the total of municipalities in the province.
In the first phase, the protocol was addressed to municipalities with fewer than 5,000 inhabitants, adding up to now 81% of those in the province, which represents a total of 34 municipalities.
In a second phase, aimed at those of more than 5,000, there are 28 municipalities adhered, representing 55% of the total.
In the third phase of expansion, the possibility of joining other local entities such as consortiums or partnerships is being offered, and the three university campuses of the province have also been added.
During the meeting, the constant growth of the affiliated entities, which make use of this advisory service provided through TragsaTec, and the good assessment that it has of the municipalities and entities with which it is collaborating were demonstrated as a useful tool capable of providing real and individualized help to the municipalities to solve the difficulties involved in the presentation of projects through the Recovery Funds set up by the Government.
The deputy delegate of the Government, wanted to thank the good work of TragsaTec and encourages the municipalities of the province that have not yet adhered to this protocol to request it.
