The subdelegate of the Government in A Coruña, María Rivas, co-chairs the meeting convened on the occasion of the Follow-up Commission of the Collaboration Agreement between the Ministry of Interior and the Xunta de Galicia that took place in the Subdelegation of the Government in A Coruña. The objective of this agreement is the surveillance and protection of the buildings and facilities of the Administration of Justice in Galicia by the National Police and the Civil Guard.
This monitoring committee is made up of representatives of the state administration, represented in this act by the subdelegate of the Government; and by representatives of the Xunta de Galicia. Today, the Director-General of Justice, José Tronchoni Albert, attended.
Among the issues discussed at the meeting, the planned investments were reviewed, as well as the requests for systems of detection, surveillance and protection of buildings, such as surveillance cameras or security arches.
Members of the Joint Monitoring Commission and the Technical Commission also participated in the meeting. The Chief General of the 15th Zone of the Civil Guard, Miguel Ángel González Arias, attended; the Chief Colonel of the Judicial Buildings Surveillance Unit (UVEX), Miguel Estévez; the Superior Chief of Police of Galicia, Ramón Gómez Nieto; and the Deputy Secretary-General of the Government Delegation, Eva Vázquez.
