The deputy delegate of the Government in A Coruña, María Rivas, participated yesterday in the closing ceremony of the ‘COFER 2023 Business Award’ organized by the Confederation of Entrepreneurs of Ferrolterra, Eume and Ortegal (COFER) that took place at the EXPONAV Foundation of Ferrol.
The deputy delegate wanted to convey her congratulations to the family of the honoree in the ‘COFER 2023 Award’, Gonzalo Antón Miranda, and took the opportunity to highlight his trajectory, which shows his “involvement and commitment to the world of business and citizenship”, since he presided over the Union of Entrepreneurs, was part of the COFER directive and the Official Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Navigation; besides participating in the politics of the municipality, among others.
“They are merits and reasons more than enough to dedicate this Business Award to a good man, to a good businessman who developed a good part of his life and profession here in Ferrol, being witness and protagonist of the industrial history of this city and the region” said Rivas
The event was also attended by the president of COFER, Cristóbal Dobarro; the Vice-President of the Confederation of Businessmen of A Coruña, Antonio Fontenla; the territorial delegate of the Xunta de Galicia in Ferrol, Martina Aneiros and the mayor of Ferrol, José Manuel Rey Varela.
