The government delegate in Galicia, Pedro Blanco, took advantage of his visit to the new facilities of the Pay Pay concierge, in the business park of Rianxo, to encourage Galician companies to attend the different calls for aid and Government Pertes, such as decarbonization, agrifood, digitalization, renewable energies and circular economy, among others, to attract funds that help to grow their companies, generate wealth in the country and create quality employment.
The delegate attended the inauguration of the factory of Pay Pay, one of the brands of Conservas Cerquera, along with ‘Buenos Dias’ and ‘Ramona’. There, he highlighted the company’s effort to build “the most modern and state-of-the-art facilities of a cannery in Galicia and Spain”. A ship that, as he said, “encloses research, development and all innovation at the service of Conservas Cerqueira”.
In this line, Pedro Blanco thanked the company for its commitment to Galicia and for the creation of employment and wealth since its foundation, in 1899, and for doing so “with social responsibility and being respectful of the environment”. He also highlighted the effort of this company to, generation after generation, turn difficulties into opportunities throughout its more than one hundred years of history.
Rianxo Polygon
The ship of Conservas Cerqueira is also a new milestone for the business fabric of Rianxo, which saw how in the last four years its business park went from an occupation of 20% to full occupation. In this respect, he valued the role of Atlantic Business Soil to complete this polygon and promote attractive business parks and tractors of leading companies that generate economic activity. He also recalled that the Government “is on the side of the Galician business community”, with a Recovery Plan “at the service of Galician companies” and that it is “an opportunity that we must take advantage of, as Cerqueira did conserves”, said Pedro Blanco, to continue advancing in welfare and progress.
