The subdelegate of the Government in Lugo, Isabel Rodríguez, welcomed the 7 national police officers who carry out their practices and their last training period in the Commissariats of the province, in an act in which the chief provincial commissioner, José María Esteban, also participated. “We are very proud to be able to help them finish their training. A training that is not only theoretical with the agents in the Police Stations, but is also practical on the street, working on all those demands that the Lucenses need,” said the subdelegate.

Isabel Rodríguez was “very happy” to receive the 6 agents and 1 inspector and invited them to stay in Lugo once they finish their training period. During the meeting, she conveyed to them the pride that it is for her that “the province and the body receive in an animose new additions that want to work with vocation to guarantee public order, defense of the rights and freedoms of the Lucenses and citizen security.” Finally, he wished the interns luck and success in this new stage, ensuring that “their contribution to the body is going to be noticed positively in all the areas in which they are involved.”

After passing the academic year at the Police School of Ávila, at 38th promotion add 6 police for the Police Station of Lugo and the 35th promotion, 1 inspector for the Police Station of Monforte de Lemos. The agents will carry out their internships in Lugo and the inspector in Monforte for 11 months in a period of 7 months. Almost half of the interns are from the province of Lugo, where 5, 1 from Oviedo and 1 from Tomelloso come from. All these professionals have an average age of 31 years and after performing the internships they will wait for a new destination.

Lugo hosts the central event
The city of Lugo will host on July 27, in front of the City Council, the official act of reception of the new policemen in practices of all Galicia, which will be incorporated to the main Commissariats of the four provinces.
