Emilio González went to the City Council of Manzaneda this morning. There he held a meeting with the mayor, Amiable Fernandez Basalo, and with the municipal corporation, to supervise the state investments in this municipality and know their demands and opinions. Emilio González put Manzaneda as an example of the government’s commitment to small municipalities, “which are called to be protagonists in the transformation of Spain towards a green, digital, sustainable and cohesive country, to achieve the objectives of the demographic challenge.” The City of Manzaneda is in the process of improving the photovoltaic energy of the municipal buildings thanks to the 64,000 euros of investment received through the DUS 5000 program of the Ministry for the Ecological Transition for unique projects in municipalities with demographic challenges.
