Ourense, February 6, 2023.- The Subdelegate of the Government in Ourense, Emilio González, celebrated this morning the impact with which the Government promotes the energy rehabilitation of homes through the Recovery Plan. In a visit to the delegation in Ourense of the College of Architects of Galicia (COAG), Emilio González conveyed the impetus of the Executive of Pedro Sánchez in the field of housing with “various and varied aids to citizens and communities of owners”.
One of the “most relevant” issues and grants that are collected from the funds of the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan (PRTR) are those related to the improvement of energy efficiency and renovation of these facilities. In this sense. The Subdelegate of the Government transferred the importance of this aid in the province of Ourense since the majority of the Ourense housing stock depends only on fossil fuels and stressed the importance of the ecological transition, to which the Government dedicates two out of every five euros of the Recovery Plan and in the economic impact in Galicia.
Emilio González stressed that the Government’s housing policies and the Recovery Plan are aimed at making “housing a right of truth.” In addition, I would like to thank you for the work you have been doing for a few months in the rehabilitation office of the COAG and through its website and the school staff and professionals so that the Government’s housing aid, mainly related to rehabilitation and energy saving, reaches the Ourensans and the territory.
The meeting took place at the headquarters of the COAG of Ourense and in it participated the delegate of the COAG in Ourense, Rafael Castro.
The Deputy Delegate also took the opportunity to highlight the great work that is being done from the two areas of internal rehabilitation (ARIS) that exist in the province, both in Castro Caldelas and in the Ribeira Sacra.
Collaboration between Administrations
Emilio González also requested the maximum collaboration to the Xunta de Galicia to execute the total of the funds transferred by the executive and that in Ourense they maintain with “delay and abandoned” as is the case of the office of the Ecobarrio de A Ponte. As well as, the Rehabilitation Office of the Concello de Ourense. Some offices that offer services to citizens, to communities of owners, companies and rehabilitating agents, in terms of information, processing and accompaniment of the actions of rehabilitation of homes and residential buildings. And of those that the Government Recovery Plan covers the costs of design, implementation and management of equipment while the government of the Concello de Ourense keeps them closed denying a service to citizens.
