The subdelegate of the Government, María Rivas, has today announced that 4,500 companies in the province of A Coruña have already benefited from the Digital Kit program, launched by the Government and which is part of the Recovery Plan. In total 22.5 million euros destined to support the digitization of these companies from Cordoba. In the whole of Galicia, the Government has already granted around 11,900 bonds, which means almost 58 million euros.
The digital kit aims to promote the digitization of small businesses, micro-enterprises and self-employed people, and contribute to modernizing the productive fabric and boosting the economy.
“These data represent a very important economic injection of 58 million euros from the Government in Galicia and 22 million in the province that is already transforming and modernizing our companies to make them more competitive,” stressed María Rivas.
The subdelegate wanted to get to know first-hand how the process of some of the companies that have requested the digital kit has been, to exchange impressions but above all “to value the importance of these funds that reach all places, all municipalities and all companies between zero and 49 employees to help them enter or consolidate themselves in the digital world, a necessary step for which there is no turning back”.
María Rivas has visited two of the 39 Carballo companies that have a digital voucher, the Carcopa autoschool, founded in 1980 and Cafés Lúa, founded in 1989 and dedicated to roasting and distributing coffee. The subdelegate has been interested in the impetus that the Government Recovery Plan has provided for these two companies, in this case through the Digital Kit program.
In the case of Cafés Lúa, the head of innovation and marketing Laura Vázquez, explained to the subdelegate that they had been wanting to reinforce other channels for some time, especially as a result of the pandemic in which they assumed the need and the potential they had. So they decided to bet on the sale to private individuals. For this, through the digital kit, SEO positioning, social media management and a market place specialized in gourmet food issues are working.
As for the Carcopa motorschool, as one of the partners, José Antonio García, explained to the subdelegate, they needed to move from a traditional to a digital motorschool. García explained to the subdelegate that in his case the digital kit has allowed them to create a website more dynamic and more in line with the times, an online store where students can register, buy tests or courses, hire the management of social networks to an external company and a CRM program for customer relationship management.
For this program the Government has launched three calls: one of 12,000 euros for companies between 10 and less than 50 employees, open until March 15; another of 6,000 euros for companies between 3 and less than 10 employees that can be requested until September 2 and a third line of 2,000 euros for self-employed people with zero or less than three employees, open until October 20.
The subdelegate has encouraged all those companies that have not yet applied for the digital voucher to do so and has explained that to do so they can count on the help of the authorized digitizing agents who perform a diagnosis, tutela, orient and accompany them in that digitizing process.
