The government delegate in Galicia, José Miñones, noted in a visit to the city of Boiro the stimulus that the central government is giving to the local trade of Galicia, with an investment of more than 237,000 euros to revitalize the open commercial center of this town of Cordoba. The delegate held a meeting with the mayor, José Ramón Romero, and with the Councilor for General Administration, Raúl Treus, to know the status of implementation of the project and visited the municipal market. The Ministry of Industry, Trade and Tourism granted Boiro an aid of 237,642 euros in the call for 2021 of aid to the commercial sector, financed with the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan. This project falls within the category of sustainable urban markets and aims to revitalize the Boiro Open Shopping Center.

And in this case we do it with a comprehensive and extensive action carried out in cooperation between the Government and the City of Boiro, with the direct participation of local merchants,” said José Miñones.
The modernization of the open shopping center involves the reform of the municipal purchase, as well as the organization of the commercial campaign ‘Fiesta del Comercio’ and the decoration of the areas. In the field of digitalization, SEO services for shops, digital marketing training, installation of Wi-Fi rest areas and automated points for online order collection are activated.
The circular economy and energy efficiency are present in the project with biodegradable bags and packaging for members of open shopping center, recycling and surcharge points for electric vehicles or transport bonds for shops.
The project is divided into eleven lines of action with which the City of Boiro promotes commercial momentum and modernization through sustainable digital transformation in municipal purchases. The most important action that is carried out through this grant is the reform of the Bought Municipal of Boiro, with which it goes an improvement of the facilities and a unification of the image.
