The Government delegate in Extremadura, José Luis Quintana, visited today the winery Pago los Balancines, located in the town of Oliva de Mérida. During its tour, Quintana was able to get to know first-hand the facilities and production processes of one of the winemaking references of the region, reaffirming its support and commitment to the Extremadura wine sector.
In his speech, José Luis Quintana highlighted the importance of this sector for the economy and cultural identity of Extremadura. “The wine is a identity signal of our region and a sample of the effort, quality and tradition of our winegrowers. From the Government, we will continue to support initiatives that promote innovation, quality and sustainability in this strategic sector,” he said.
The government delegate in Extremadura also valued the work of Pago los Balancines, which with its commitment to excellence and innovation has managed to position itself as a reference in the production of quality wines, contributing to the economic developmento and the promotion of the region in national and international markets.
José Luis Quintana ended his visit reaffirming the commitment of the Government of Spain to the wine sector, promoting policies and programs that favor its sustainable growth, innovation and presence in global markets.
