The Center for Operational Cooperation (CECOP) has met in the Government Delegation in Extremadura to analyze the security device in the region after the widespread blackout suffered by the electrical and telecommunications infrastructures today.
The CECOP sends a message of calm to the citizens, since the competent authorities and the State Security Forces are working to manage the incidents arising from this situation. Likewise, it insists on asking the whole of society to follow the recommendations of the authorities, avoiding unnecessary travel, especially by road, as expressed by the General Directorate of Traffic (DGT). Likewise, it is recommended that a prudent use of mobile phones be made so that the batteries last as long as possible and citizens can be communicated.
