The subdelegate of the Government in Cáceres, José Antonio García, accompanied by the Chief Inspector, Secretary General of the Provincial Commissioner of Cáceres, José Luis García Muñoz, and the Mayor of Coria, Almudena Domingo, have visited the new DNIe Update Point (PAD) installed outside the premises of the National Police.
Specifically, this PAD is located at the Local Police Station of Coria and is available from Monday to Sunday 24 hours a day. It is a team that allows to update the password and certificate of electronic DNI in a simple and accessible way for all citizens.
This new position is part of the plan to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the Public Administration with the aim of making it easier for citizens to renew electronic certificates without the need for personal assistance to another location.
In total, the province of Cáceres has five DNIe Update Points located in the city of Cáceres, Plasencia, Valencia de Alcántara, Coria and from Thursday in Navalmoral de la Mata.
The subdelegate of the Government has stressed the importance of taking these points through different municipalities of the province since they serve to fix population and bring the services of the General Administration of the State closer to the citizens.
