The subdelegate of the Government in Cáceres, José Antonio García, co-chaired today with the mayor of Navalmoral de la Mata, Enrique Piedra, the Local Security Board to establish the security device for the Carnival of the town, which will be held from February 28 to March 5.
The security device will be composed of 112 agents of the Civil Guard, with the presence of the USECIC (Citizen Security Unit of Command) of Cáceres, 80 components of the Traffic detachment that will carry out alcohol and drug controls; 132 services by the Local Police, about 80 volunteers of Civil Protection and firefighters; all of them will ensure the proper functioning and development of the Carnaval 2025.
In terms of health services, a total of 25 Red Cross volunteers will participate. In addition, there will be three basic life support ambulances, a health post with doctors and nurses and two rapid intervention vehicles.
In addition to the subdelegate of the Government in Cáceres and the mayor, the Lieutenant Colonel, head of the Cáceres Command, agents of the Civil Guard of the local post, the traffic subsector, members of the Local Police, as well as representatives of the Government, Civil Protection, Red Cross and SEPEI team participated in the meeting.
