Renfe has issued 16,325 free Media Distancia subscriptions in Extremadura valid for travel between January 1 and April 30, 2024.

Nationally, Renfe exceeds the two million free subscriptions issued to travel in Vicinity, Rodalies and Media Distancia during the first four months of the year.

Of the total number of free multi-trip tickets issued by Renfe, more than 1.4 million correspond to tickets to travel in the different centres of Cerca, Rodalies and Cerca Ancho Metrica, while the tickets for Media Distancia exceed 500,000.

To speed up the purchase of subscriptions and avoid unnecessary waits, Renfe recommends obtaining them through the Renfe Proximity app or, in the case of Media Distancia subscriptions, through the web www.renfe.com. To do this, the customer must be registered in advance.
