Jesús Baeza receives the Medal of Merit for Road Safety

The Government delegate in Extremadura, José Luis Quintana, today awarded the bronze medal with blue badge to the Merit of Road Safety to the Civil Guard assigned to the Traffic School in Mérida, Jesús Baena Campos.

During her speech, Quintana highlighted the constant work carried out by the General Directorate of Traffic incorporating measures, resources and actions that result every day in improvements in road traffic, in addition to the immense work of permanent awareness of all citizens.

Likewise, the government delegate has highlighted the work of the thousands of agents of the Traffic Sector of the Civil Guard; agents who ensure the safety of everyone, day and night, every day of the year.

Finally, he congratulated the decorated and highlighted his professional career “for doing your job with that plus of dedication, commitment and responsibility that distinguishes excellent public employees.”

Jesús Baena Campos is assigned to the Merida Traffic School. Since 1982 and continuously he is in the Traffic Group. Since 2012, Baena has been collaborating as a monitor with the Moto y Vida Association in motorcycle driving courses throughout Spain, actively participating in the training of the personnel who participate in them. In addition, he is the holder of several distinctions and recognitions.
