The deputy delegate of the Government in Cáceres, José Antonio García together with the mayor of Moraleja, Julio César Herrero, presided this morning the Local Security Board in which the security device for the Fairs and Festivities of San Buenaventura has been established, which will be held from July 12 to 16.
The device will be composed of 100 agents of the Civil Guard, 18 members of the USECIC who will be present at the weekend, to which must be added five government delegates for the bullfighting celebrations. The Traffic Group will be present with more than 40 troops, monitoring the access and exits to the locality with alcohol and drug controls.
On the part of the Local Police there will be 12 officers making a total of 65 services. In addition, during these holidays there will be about 50 civil protection volunteers from both the town and other municipalities, specifically from Eljas and Hoyos.
In terms of health services, two operating theatres, one fixed and one mobile, two ambulances, one with advanced life support and another basic, will be equipped with doctors, nurses and technicians.
The meeting was attended by the Chief Captain of the Company of Coria, the Lieutenant Chief of the Traffic Detachment of Plasencia, the Corporal 1st Accidental Commander of the Post of Moraleja, the Local Police of the municipality and councilors of the Government team.
