In municipal terms, Utiel receives for the reconstruction of roads and agricultural infrastructures and communities of irrigators 34.5M€ and Requena, 33.63M€

The delegate of the Government in the Valencian Community, Pilar Bernabé, has visited together with the president of the State Society of Agrarian Infrastructures (SEIASA) of the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food, Francisco Rodríguez Mulero, the actions of the Government of Spain after the dana for the recovery of rural roads and agrarian infrastructures in Utiel and Requena. The government has allocated more than 68 million euros to irrigant communities, farms and roads in the municipal districts of the two towns.
In the case of Utiel, the delegate together with the Councilor for Agriculture and Livestock, Aitor Iniesta, has visited the works carried out on plots and agricultural roads. In total, the Government of Spain has allocated 34.5 million euros: 4.5 million euros to actions on agricultural roads; more than 9.8 million euros to works in communities of irrigators; 20 million euros on farms and more than 240,000 euros in the Vivero Sat Heredad El Hardal. According to Barnabas, “more than 104 agricultural roads have been acted on through cleaning, the construction of bases with a contribution of zahors and escollera, and the clearing and clearing of herbaceous vegetation.” In addition, it will act in 2,200 plots through the replacement of land, cleaning and replacement of pipes.
The Government of Spain has allocated a total of about 121 million euros to Utiel, of which 46.3 million euros are to cover 100% of the reconstruction of municipal infrastructures.
For its part to Requena, the Spanish Government has allocated 33.63 million euros: EUR 5.25 million for agricultural roads; EUR 13.48 million for works in irrigated communities and EUR 14.89 million for farms. The delegate who has visited the performances together with Mayor Mario Sánchez, has indicated that “more than 216 agricultural roads have been worked on, works have been executed in more than 13 irrigating communities and more than 2,300 plots will be repaired”. In total, the Government of Spain has allocated about 87 million euros to Requena, of which 35 million euros are to cover 100% of the reconstruction of municipal infrastructures
The delegate stressed that “it is important to remember the effort of the Government in the reconstruction of the province of Valencia. A reconstruction and recovery after the damage led by the Government of Spain”.
