The delegate of the Government in the Valencian Community, Pilar Bernabé, has visited together with the president of the State Society of Agrarian Infrastructures (SEIASA) of the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food, Francisco Rodríguez Mulero; and together with the mayor of Gestalgar, Raúl Pardos, the actions of the Government of Spain after the dana for the recovery of rural roads and agrarian infrastructures of this municipality. These works represent an investment of about 6 million euros, “a figure that demonstrates the determined commitment of the Government of Spain to the rural world”.
The delegate has specified that the investment in rural roads amounts to more than 2.2 million euros. It operates on more than 18 kilometers of 30 rural roads for cleaning and reconstruction.
To this is added the aid that will be received by the irrigation communities amounting to about 2 million euros to restore the irrigation system.
The delegate also reviewed “the more than 440 affected plots to which the Government has allocated an initial investment of about 1.5 million euros”
In addition, the Government of Spain has allocated about 8.2 million euros to cover 100% of the repair and/or reconstruction of the municipal infrastructures of Gestalgar.
An investment that, as explained by the delegate, exceeds the 15 million euros of the State in the municipality of Gestalgar, “and it is important to remember the effort of the Government of Spain in the reconstruction of the province of Valencia. A reconstruction and recovery of the province after the dana that has name and surnames. And it is the Government of Spain.”
Investment that also highlights “the absolute commitment of the Government of Spain to the reconstruction of small municipalities with the same force as in large cities”. “Reconstruction,” he added, “should serve not to stay as before, but to make us more resilient and better.” “The government’s commitment is to be, to help, to invest and to rebuild,” he concluded.
