The delegate of the Government in the Valencian Community, Pilar Bernabé, has closed the University Sme event organized by the State Foundation for Employment (FUNDAE) and the SEPE together with the Valencian Community Construction Labor Foundation.
“València is already at the heart of the national strategy for industrialized housing,” Bernabé stressed at this event in which he also said that “the Government of Spain has chosen this city for its human capital, logistical potential and its innovative drive.” This commitment that will be concentrated in the future City of Industrialization of Construction “will turn the Valencian Community into a neuralgic center of the new public architecture through training, exchange of knowledge and the exhibition of innovative projects”.
The Strategic Project for the Recovery and Economic Transformation (PERTE) of Industrialized Housing -said Bernabé- "is not just an investment -1,300M€ in a whole decade- is a declaration of intentions. It’s a strategy and quick and sustainable solutions.” In short, he added, “it is about rethinking how and where we build, something fundamental after the dana”. “The climate emergency is not a hypothesis for the future. It is the present. And that is why an adapted, resilient and modern constructive model is urgently needed.” The Government of Spain through PERTE - the delegate recalled - pursues "an ambitious objective such as achieving the production of 15,000 homes per year and reaching 20,000 per year over the horizon of ten years, building more and better and faster at affordable prices". For all of this, “a professional training connected with the new reality of the sector, with digitalization, logistics, assembly and security” is required. In addition, “the digitalization and automation of the sector will allow us to move towards a more feminized sector”. In short, “we are facing a new paradigm that will mark the next decade and in it Valencia will not be a spectator. It will be the protagonist with the support of the Government of Spain”, he concluded.
