The delegate of the Government in the Valencian Community, Pilar Bernabé, met today with the business community and the Neighborhood Association Forn d’Alcedo to discuss different issues related to the investment of the Government of Spain in the district. “We are where we need to be, listening to the people who have suffered the consequences of the dana and to those who the Government of Spain must be present in the recovery,” said Bernabé.
The delegate told them that the Government of Spain will allocate 31.4 million euros “to achieve an improved normality” to the reconstruction and improvement of the municipal infrastructures of this hamlet of València affected by the dana.
The order, published last Monday, for the granting of aid from the Government of Spain to repair, restore or rebuild the municipal infrastructures of the affected municipalities of the province of Valencia, amounts to 1,721 million euros. Of these, 137 million euros will go to the districts of the city of Valencia.
In the case of Forn d´Alcedo, the investments will go to sewerage and water purification, supply and purification, paving of urban roads and access to population centers. Also, to the CEIP Hora d’Alcedo, to the Municipal Center for the Elderly, to the public lighting, to the Mayor of Forn d’Alcedo, to the sports facilities and to the water supply network.
Bernabé said that “the Government of Spain is the one of active listening and dialogue to find solutions between all and everyone. To go hand in hand together and resurface.” We are at a time when it is necessary to “listen to the citizens, the social agents, the mayors and mayors to be more effective”. And, in this sense, he added that “collaboration between administrations is fundamental for the acceleration of the process”.
