The Government delegate in the Valencian Community, Pilar Bernabé, has presided over the institutional inauguration of The Terminal Hub in the maritime station of the Port of Valencia “a building that, together with others that are already in the Marina, will compete for Valencia to be the main Spanish city of reference for the entrepreneurial ecosystem”. In this sense, he has indicated that “we must continue to promote the positioning of València on the entrepreneurial map. And for that it is crucial that all administrations are aligned in continuing to provide the city with all those tools that make it more attractive for domestic and foreign investment.”
The Government of Spain “is committed to Valencia and its progress”, he said, and “it is clear that it must accompany entrepreneurs and startups so as not to lose the talent they have”. The delegate recalled that, in 2022, the Government approved the Law on the Promotion of the Ecosystem of Emerging Companies that “aims to create an entrepreneurial ecosystem friendly to entrepreneurs and investors.” This regulation “is bearing fruit: Spain closed the first half of the year with an investment volume 50% more than in the same period of 2023”.
To this is added - said Bernabé - "the more than 4.6 billion euros invested by the Government of Spain in a strategic sector such as innovation". At the same time, “as a country we must continue to drive research and development spending.”
