The delegate of the Government, Pilar Bernabé, held a meeting this morning with the associations of neighbors affected by the noise of the Valencia Airport to explain the Action Plan Against Noise (PAR).
After this meeting, the delegate stressed that the Government of Spain has demonstrated “its clear interest, its concern and occupation, with the airport of Valencia, but also the responsibility and commitment with the neighbors who live and live with that infrastructure”
In this regard, the Government of Spain approved the Action Plan against noise, which includes measures to encourage companies to use less noisy aircraft, so that landing and take-off operations are carried out according to criteria of minimization of the acoustic impact and, finally, to establish working groups with airport and neighboring managers and companies to study the implementation of measures to attenuate noise.
The València Airport Noise Action Plan has been publicly reported by the Ministry of Transport. Now there are 45 days to submit claims to this plan that “is absolutely dynamic, which has a two-year period to start and is open across the board to address noise from different perspectives,” he said.
Today’s meeting was attended by the president of the Neighborhood Federation of Valencia, María José Broseta, and the vice-president of CAVE COVA, Manuel Lubary, as well as neighborhood representatives from the neighborhoods of Nou Moles, San Isidro, Devesa Fuente San Luis, Tres Forques, Senabre, Creu Bierta, Malilla, Sant Marcel.li, Favara and Patraix of the city of València and the neighborhood San Francisco and Alameda Park of Manises.
