The delegate of the Government in the Valencian Community, Pilar Bernabé, has attended the exhibition of some of the units of the National Police that are part of the security device of Fallas. This event has shown the Falleras Grandes of Valencia, María Estela Arlandis and Marina García and their courts of honor, the units of Canine Guides, Cavalry, Subsoil, the Special Operative Security Group (GOES), the Police Intervention Unit (UIP), Air Media and the Prevention and Reaction Unit (UPR).
In this act, the delegate recalled that 2,000 agents of the National Police will form the security device for the city of València during the Fallas of 2024 to which will be added members of the Civil Guard. Bernabé thanked the State Security Forces and Corps “for the work they are doing to ensure that the operation is fully effective and that security is guaranteed during the holidays.”
The exhibition was attended by the deputy operational director of the National Police, José Ángel González, and the superior chief of police in the Valencian Community, Jorge Manuel Marti, among other police officers
