The delegate of the Government in the Valencian Community, Pilar Bernabé, has presided over the delivery of medals to the Civil Merit. An act in which the Cross of Officer of the Order of Isabella the Catholic and three decorations of the Order of Civil Merit have been given “to members of the State Security Forces and Bodies and State officials who have guaranteed the rights and freedoms of citizens in times as complicated as those of the coronavirus pandemic”
The four honorees, said the delegate, “represent everything that makes us stronger in the face of adversity: humanity, solidarity, responsibility, dedication and the vocation of public service.” In this line, the delegate has pointed out that “there are people who surrender to this country and care for their citizens so that in Spain equality and rights are generated among all people.”
