The General Directorate of Traffic foresees 1,090,680 long-distance journeys on the roads of the Valencian Community, during the special operation on 12 October. The traffic regulation, management and surveillance measures will be maintained from today at 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 15.
The Pilar bridge generates an important movement of vehicles throughout the Spanish road network. At the national level, there will be 7,450,000 displacements.
Pilar Bernabé has called for the prudence of all drivers. According to the delegate, “it is necessary to respect the established speed, maintain the safety distance and not be distracted at the wheel with the mobile phone, the main cause of accidents with fatalities”. He has also considered it “fundamental” to rest every two hours in the case of long-distance journeys.
