In the General Elections of this 23J, a total of 3,727,999 people are called to the polls in the Valencian Community. Among them, 125,868 are Spaniards residing abroad and registered in the Census of Resident and Absent Voters (CERA) and the rest –3,602,131– are residents of Spain.

The Government Delegation in the Valencian Community has distributed, in order to ensure the proper functioning of these General Elections, More than 37’6 million ballot papers and 16,000 ballot boxes.
In addition, during today’s day, 2,913 representatives of the Administration participate in the task of transmitting data to the Government Sub-Delegations.
Security device
Also, to ensure security in the electoral process, 9,083 members of the various security forces, whose cost for this day is assumed by the General Administration of the State, will serve today. Of the total, 4,359 are members of the Civil Guard, 3,000 of National Police and 1,625 of the different Local Police. To them, we must add the 99 agents of the Seconded Unit.
Transfers of people with mobility problems
The Government Delegation in the Valencian Community, in collaboration with Red Cross, also offers a free shuttle service To facilitate the right to vote in person to people with mobility problems who require it.
In total, 243 people have requested the service in the Comunitat Valenciana. It is about 91 people in Alicante, 112 in València and 40 in Castellón.
