The Delegate of the Government in the Valencian Community, Pilar Bernabé, has presided over the act of graduation and award of the prizes of the Employment Program of the Polytechnic University of Valencia (UPV).
In this act, the delegate has recognized the work of the UPV “in promoting the leadership and positioning of women in organizations through the Employment Program”. Through this initiative, the students of recent courses and recent graduates have the opportunity to develop and enhance their personal and professional skills.
Bernabé has stressed that, despite programs like this one, “there are non-egalitarian spaces” and has been in favor of reversing that trend. In this line, he highlighted “the commitment of the Government of Spain to the achievement of real equality and to end the glass floor”. Thus, he has defended “an egalitarian future because talent and leadership have no gender.”
The Employment Program establishes the framework for women in positions of responsibility to become an example for students and graduates of the UPV, while at the same time they receive specialized training.
