Today the first operational meeting was held between the Government Delegation and the Port Authority of Ceuta to coordinate the device of the Operation of the Strait 2023, which directly affects the Port, since the construction of the new maritime station will mean that there will be changes in the residents’ lane.
In the coming days, coordination meetings will continue to be convened and even tests will be carried out, in order to establish alternatives so that the Ceutians do not have any problems this year when boarding.
The meeting has also broken down the device to be put in place by the Port Authority, in view of OPE 2023, which includes an increase in staff, as well as for the reinforcement of cleaning services and investments in maintenance, conservation and improvement of infrastructures.
The objective is that during OPE 2023, the passage and stay of passengers through the Port will be as comfortable, safe and brief as possible.
