Ceuta is assuming 20.1% of the total movements within the operation departing from OPE 2023, figures very similar to those of the previous year.
In the first days of Operation Strait Pass 2023, which coincided with the dates close to the celebration of the Feast of Sacrifice, Ceuta had data higher than those of the previous year. Meanwhile, since the beginning of this year’s OPE, compared to 2022, the number of vehicles and 14,626 passengers has been reduced by 4,189.
During the first days of the device, which coincided with the second half of June, the days of greatest passenger traffic between Algeciras and Ceuta were 18,23,24 and 25.
The number of rotations between the Port of Algeciras and that of Ceuta, since the beginning of OPE 23, has increased by 273, which is 16.2% more than the previous year.
The days marked as critical in the Departure Phase are July 29, 30 and 31 and August 1. For their part, in the Return Phase, 29, 30, 31 August and 1 September are expected to be the most complex days.
