The government delegate visited today the works that have been carried out by the Ministry of Ecological Transition and Demographic Challenge, through the General Directorate of the Coast and the Sea, to repair the damage caused by the storm on April 4 and 5, 2022. The budget for these actions has been 2.7 million euros, which were allocated through an emergency to alleviate the damage caused by this storm.
The actions have focused on:
- Escollera of the esplanade of John XXI
- Recovery of the beach of Santa Catalina.
- Contribution of sand to the beaches of the Chorrillo and the Ribera.
- Repair wooden roads of the beaches of Benitez and El Trampoline.
- Calamocarro beach access with two new ramps.
At the same time, the Ministry of Transport, Mobility and Urban Agenda, through the General Directorate of Roads, has allocated almost one million euros to repair damage on National Roads 354 and 352.
The total investment of these two actions amounts to about 3.7 million euros.
