During the first two months of the OPE, more than 700,000 documentary verifications have been carried out at the border

• During this period there have been no incidents at the documentary and customs checkpoints • The average waiting time in the bagging area has not been more than one hour

During the first two months of Operation Strait Pass 2023, which runs from June 15 to August 15, 708,490 documentary verifications have been carried out on the Tarajal border.

346,132 people and 107,680 vehicles have left Ceuta for Morocco and on the contrary, from Morocco to Ceuta, 362,358 people and 79,612 vehicles have entered. These data support the work carried out at the border by agents of the National Police and the Civil Guard.

During this period, there have been no incidents at the documentary and customs control points. And the average waiting time in the bagging area has not been more than an hour.

In the Return Phase, 29, 30, 31 August and 1 September are expected to be the most complex days.
