Tarragona, June 19, 2023.- The government delegate in Catalonia, Carlos Prieto, carried out on Monday an institutional visit in Reus and Tarragona where he met with municipal representatives and visited a company in the territory.
On their arrival, together with the deputy delegate of the Government in Tarragona, Santiago Castellà, they paid a visit to the City of Reus, where Prieto signed the book of honor, and held a meeting with Sandra Guaita, the first female mayor of the municipality, who explained some of the projects that will be carried out in the city in this new mandate.
Subsequently, they have moved to the City of Tarragona, where they have been received by the new government team, and the delegate has signed the book of honor. Prieto has met with the new mayor, Rubén Viñual, and has subsequently paid a brief attention to the local media.

In the afternoon, Prieto and Castellà visited the Repsol Industrial Complex in Tarragona, a set of facilities where a large amount of petroleum products are produced. Currently the complex occupies more than 500 hectares, and its importance has been increasing since its creation, as well as its production and storage capacity.
