February 14, 2023.- The Tax Agency will make available tomorrow to all possible beneficiaries the online form with which to request the new aid of 200 euros for people with low income and wealth established by Royal Decree-Law 20/2022, of December 27. The Royal Decree states that applicants have time until March 31 to apply for assistance and that the deadline for payment by the Agency is three months from then.
The form will be published in the highlighted information section of the Agency’s e-office (https://sede.agenciatributaria.gob.es) and in it it will only be necessary to fill in the identifying data and
Address of the applicant and of the people with whom he lives in the home, as well as a contact telephone and the bank account number to make the payment of the aid effective.
Brochures and explanatory videos
In the weeks prior to the start of the application period, the Agency had already enabled the space on its website for the new aid of 200 euros in order to facilitate the visualization of a specific block of frequently asked questions and to encourage potential applicants who are not registered in the ‘Clave’ system, nor have an electronic certificate, to carry out this simple procedure of registration in ‘Clave’ by internet or video call avoiding travel, or in the offices of the Agency or other public bodies. The registration in ‘Clave’ only requires providing the DNI data and a mobile phone number.
All the necessary information in relation to this procedure, as well as the information linked to the aid of the 200 euros, will also be collected in brochures and explanatory videos that will be published on the Agency's website, and all this will be complemented by information posters in the areas of attention to the public of the offices throughout the territory.
Beneficiary groups and requirements
The aid consists of a single payment of 200 euros for self-employed or self-employed workers and beneficiaries of the unemployment benefit or allowance in 2022 who last year did not exceed 27,000 euros gross of income and whose assets – discounting the usual housing – did not exceed 75,000 euros. The beneficiaries must have their habitual residence in Spain in 2022.
For the calculation of amounts, the income and assets of the following persons living in the same household must be added: the beneficiary himself; his spouse or partner; descendants under 25 years of age, or disabled, with incomes not exceeding 8,000 euros; and ascendants up to second degree by direct line (parents and grandparents).
As in the case of the previous aid of 200 euros, the object of this new single payment is to alleviate the harmful effect on prices caused by the energy crisis resulting from the invasion of Ukraine in situations of economic vulnerability not covered by other social benefits. In this sense, the increase in contributory pensions is already guaranteed in line with inflation, while the Minimum Vital Income (MVI) and non-contributory pensions already benefit from an extraordinary increase of 15%. Therefore, recipients of this aid are not recipients of the recipients as of December 31, 2022 of the IMV and of Social Security pensions.
On the other hand, the Royal Decree establishes the requirement that none of the aforementioned cohabitants was in 2022 administrator of an active company, or holder of unlisted shares or participations.
