Preventing and detecting youth risk situations
The main objective of the “Master Plan for Coexistence and Improvement of Security in Educational Centers and their Environments” is coordination between the educational community and the Security Forces and Bodies, to provide young people with the necessary knowledge and tools, in order to prevent or detect situations of risk that may affect their security.
The Educational Center intervenes in the learning and development of children and adolescents and therefore the educational community, families and the State Security Forces and Bodies are a permanent link and an open communication channel with adolescents.
In order to improve the knowledge of police resources and crime prevention, as well as the protection of victims, monographs and training and information activities adapted to the level of the participants are promoted. These activities serve to improve coexistence and security in the school environment, reinforcing knowledge and trust in the police forces.
