The government delegate presides over the event in tribute to the retired National Police of the Corps in León

May 24, 2024. The government delegate in Castilla y León, Nicanor Sen, has presided over the institutional act of tribute and recognition to the work done during his years of service to the retired National Police of the Corps in León.
The event, which took place in the auditorium of the Provincial Labour and Social Security Inspectorate, recognized the work of 28 officers who have been awarded five recognition diplomas for dedication to police service and 15 to those who have reached retirement age.
In addition to the diplomas, eight policemen have been honored as honorary policemen, a distinction that within the National Police is only awarded to those who have stood out before others for a worthy job and a relevant trajectory. In order to be awarded this distinction, a policeman must have at least 35 years of effective service, must have no records of unfavorable annotations, must be in possession of all decorations for dedication to police service and must have entered the Order of Police Merit.
