The Government delegate raises the demands and concerns of the Community regarding prisons to Penitentiary Institutions

April 23, 2024. The government delegate, Nicanor Sen, held a working meeting with the General Secretary of Penitentiary Institutions, Ángel Luis Ortiz, on Tuesday in Madrid, to which he has transferred those issues that concern the Community within its competence.

Sen has put on the table several questions that have been raised by security forces and bodies, as well as by the unions in the field of prisons. Likewise, they have addressed the various investments that the General Secretariat is carrying out or plans to carry out in the territory to improve the facilities.

The Secretary-General has received with great interest the issues raised by the delegate, who hopes that they will be carefully considered and resolved as soon as possible.
