The Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food calls for aid to representative entities and unions of workers in the agri-food sector

• EUR 2,529,250 is allocated to subsidise the development of collaborative activities and for specific actions carried out by the representative entities of the agricultural and food sector • The subsidies for the activity of representation of the unions of workers in the agri-food and environmental sectors total 376,040 euros

April 23, 2024. The Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food has published today in the Official State Gazette an excerpt of the order for the convocation of aid to associations representing the agricultural and food sector For 2024, for a total amount of 2,529,250 euros.

The objective of this aid is to support the development of its activities of collaboration and representation before the General Administration of the State and the European Union, as well as for the realization of specific actions of special interest for this sector.

Professional agricultural organizations (OPAs) and agri-food associations at the state level and of a general and representative nature will be eligible for this aid.

In addition, the ministry has published today in the BOE an extract of the order to call for subsidies to unions of workers in the agri-food and environmental sectors, which will have 376,040 euros in 2024.

These grants are intended to finance the development of their collaboration and representation activities with the General Administration of the State, the European Union and international institutions, and for the realization of projects of special interest for the development and improvement of the workers of the aforementioned sectors.

In both cases, the applications will be submitted within fifteen working days, counted from the day following the publication of the extracts in the Official State Gazette.
